NordicRWE is supported by a major public research grant from the Research Council of Norway for the period October 2021 to December 2025 (grant no. 327887).
The project, which is led by NordicRWE, has partners from the Department of Biostatistics at the University of Oslo and the Department of Registry Informatics at the Cancer Registry of Norway.
With this research project we will run proof-of-concept research projects with the aim of turning the unique health data infrastructure in the Nordic countries into new products and services that will accelerate the drug development and approval processes.
The research will target two highly relevant and interesting areas of integrating and applying RWD/E into the drug development and drug cycle management processes, namely target trial emulation and external control arms (ECA) and drug signal detection:
